Oliver Eugen Kretz of the Philippines was named Man of the World 2026

On Saturday, June 6, in the Palacio de Maynila, Oliver Eugen Kretz of the Philippines was named Man of the World 2026. In the eighth edition of the pageant, the 25-year-old Filipino-German model created history by winning the first-ever title for the host country. He replaces Spain's Juul Messiaen, who won last year. The top runner-up was Ecuador's Abel Díaz, followed by Chile's Fidel Arellano, Mexico's Luis Arturo Jauregui, and Malaysia's Afiq Naufal. The competitors from Indonesia, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, and Vietnam made up the remaining Top 10 finalists. Candidates from Angola, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Czech Republic, the Dominican Republic, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and Taiwan completed the Top 18.

Tiktok sensation Jayden Fernandez aka Jonas Harina of San Antonio, Quezon, is one of the finalists of Mr. Grand Philippines 2024. Jayden rose to fame by selling Bench underwear online. He wears the underwear first before viewers buy it. And is currently trending on the internet due to his video.

Jayden was among those who walked the ramp at the recent Bench Body Vernissage fashion show. He will also be in Bench's Body of Work show scheduled for March 21, 2025.

“I’m really grateful to Bench because it was also my platform to become more known,” said Jayden after the press presentation and sashing ceremony of Mr. Grand Philippines 2024 on Tuesday night, October 8, at Viva Cafe, Cubao, Quezon City.

Manuel Garchitorena Chua is a Filipino model, actor, politician, and businessman who was born on October 29, 1980.

He was discovered in the Filipino version of the reality game program Pinoy Fear Factor, which ran from November 2008 to February 2009 on ABS-CBN. According to reports, he broke two of the world records for the show.

In the 2022 elections, Chua ran as a PDP-Laban candidate for San Jose, Nueva Ecija's municipal council, placing sixth.
