Oliver Eugen Kretz of the Philippines was named Man of the World 2026


On Saturday, June 6, in the Palacio de Maynila, Oliver Eugen Kretz of the Philippines was named Man of the World 2026. In the eighth edition of the pageant, the 25-year-old Filipino-German model created history by winning the first-ever title for the host country. He replaces Spain's Juul Messiaen, who won last year. The top runner-up was Ecuador's Abel Díaz, followed by Chile's Fidel Arellano, Mexico's Luis Arturo Jauregui, and Malaysia's Afiq Naufal. The competitors from Indonesia, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, and Vietnam made up the remaining Top 10 finalists. Candidates from Angola, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Czech Republic, the Dominican Republic, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and Taiwan completed the Top 18.
